In its agreements with the Swiss Confederation, the Climate Cent Foundation has committed to reducing at least two million tonnes of CO2 within Switzerland over the period 2008 to 2012. The Project Funding Programmes and the Buildings Programme support CO2 emissions reductions projects in the fields of motor fuels, space heating, industrial process heat, waste heat recovery and energy renovations. No project can be shown to illustrate the Target Agreements Programme, as projects in this programme do not consist in individual measures. Please find below examples of concrete climate protection projects in Switzerland whose realisation was made possible by the Climate Cent Foundation’s contribution.
